Yes, I took a photo of a CRT TV screen.
Lindsay and I met while working at The Maneater student newspaper in our freshman year. I don’t remember exactly how we met, but we became friends when we worked together on a fashion story for MOVE, which is The Maneater‘s biweekly arts and entertainment magazine. The next year, when everyone was moving off-campus, we became roommates.
Linds tried out for the College Championship series in Jeopardy! that year as well as the next. She didn’t make it until this year — and earlier this evening, a large group of us all gathered at The Heidelberg for a watch party to see Lindsay win $22,100, triumph in her first round and sail into the semifinals.

I should probably invest in weather-worthy shoes. As it is, though, these are my only comfortable shoes/non-heels that don't have holes in them.

Having known me for almost four years, Lindsay is pretty used to my having a camera handy. As are all my friends, for that matter.

From what I hear, it’s still snowing. It’s turned into a pretty nasty, slushy snow, which means I don’t plan on going outside again until it stops. I’ve also heard there are a lot of especially careless drivers out there, which means I’m not going to drive to the grocery store as planned. Which means I might just order Chinese food and make someone else drive to deliver it to me.
I’ll be sure to tip well.
