Which would you have chosen?
I would have chosen the first one. In my opinion, seeing the faces makes you feel more connected.
Second one.
I think they chose correctly. While I like the faces, if an errant designer cropped the photo, you’d loose the water. And honestly, I didn’t see it on the first look. If there were a frame in the middle, it would probably have the best of both.
Erin, our designers are very good about respecting our crops, so that was never an issue. I agree an in-between frame would’ve been ideal, but my camera can only handle so many frames per second, unlike a pro body. 🙂
