I’m about to head out to shoot a professional baseball game — but first, here’re a couple of feature shots from a town ball game from a bit ago.

As far as I understand, town ball is basically guys playing baseball just to play baseball. It’s not American Legion baseball, it’s not pro, it’s not Little League. I may be wrong — and, if so, correct me — but this is just playing for the sport.

The word “Americana” comes to mind.
